Post braces care

Like me, I guess most people would think that there isn't much things we need to do after we take out our braces but...I realise that it is not true! In fact, you really need to take care of your teeth after you remove your braces! Here's some tips and some personal encounters for anyone who is going to remove their braces! 1. Wear your retainers (forever) Once you remove your braces, your dentist would have advised you to wear your braces 24/7 for the first 6 months as the teeth will start to shift (back to the original position in worse cases) if you do not wear your braces. Many people may think that it is not important to wear your retainers but here's a strong piece of advise for you. You must really remember to wear your retainers. If wearing it 24/7 is a bit tough as it was a bit hard for me to really talk when I wear my retainers, please wear it at night.  Question is, do you still need to wear braces after 6 month?  YES! The answer is definitely a yes....

A good break :)

So this break from work is not exactly planned and I'm really surprised that it has been a great one thus far!  Just for today, I had a few things I wanted to do  1) do some exercise and go to the gym 2) pay credit card bill 3) practice keyboard  4) meet friends for dinner  Guess what? I did more than this :)  This morning I received my new dumb bell and they are really pretty! Prettier than expected! So right after lunch, I did some simple work out with it :) it came at the right time as I was planning to do some exercise today as I haven really exercise this week!  Thereafter, I managed to send out a few job applications as intended! :)  Though I was feeling quite tired not sure why, but I decided to drag myself to the gym for some cardio! My weight has been on the rise 😅 I hope it was because I'm starting to build muscles as I have been doing some weight training recently in the hope of building up some muscles!  ...

Food allergy, yes it is scary!

A few of my friends sent me a link of this straits time article about a lady who has passed on due to food allergy in an attempt to caution me to stay away from prawn as I too, had my 3rd food allergy episode in late May and I thought I should share my story too. I had my first food allergy episode about 8 years ago and honestly, it was scary! I recalled that I took the company bus out to east point and had long john silver, one of my favourite fast food of all times. As I love to go for new combo sets, I ordered the ultimate seafood combo set which comes with a seafood patty containing prawn, sea urchin, squid and etcs. After lunch, while I was making my way back to the office, my eyes felt weird. I asked my friend if my eyes look weird and she said I look ok. With that, I went back to my office (we are not from the same department). As I sat down, I felt a puff below my eyes and I was wondering if it was because the eye shadow accidentally gone into my eyes and caused some irrita...
